Patrick McNamara, Ph.D. is Assistant Professor of Neurology in the Department of Neurology at Boston University School of Medicine, and the VA New England HealthCare System campus in Boston. He has held several leadership positions in the past 10 years mostly in the academic and consulting worlds. He has published two books and over 50 papers in peer-review journals. In addition, he won the VA Merit Review Award in 2001 for a project on Parkinson’s Disease, a Templeton Foundation award for research on religion, and a National Institute of Mental Health award for a project on the Phylogeny of Sleep states. He has been nominated to edit a series of 4 volumes on religion and the brain sciences for Greenwood Press CT and is a reviewer for several scientific journals in the cognitive neurosciences.

David Trumbull David Trumbull is Director of Member Services for the National Textile Association based in Boston. He is a member of the Association of Leadership Educators. He is also a member of the International Plutarch Society. His political and community leadership includes serving as chairman of the local Republican Party and a vice president of the local branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP).

Mr. Trumbull has written biweekly political humor columns for several Boston-area newspapers. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan, where he studied History of Art. He is married and lives on Boston's historic Beacon Hill.
