Of these 14 books in the Apocrapha of the Authorized Version, three, the
two books of Esdras and The Prayer of Manasses, are generally counted among apocryphal
Old Testament books. The remaining seven whole books, the additional material from
Esther, and the three additions to Daniel are known to Protestants as Apocrypha and no true part of the Bible
while Catholics hold them as Deuterocanonical books of the Old Testament.
